The Lewes District of East Sussex offers a wide variety of towns and villages that are steeped in history.

All towns are closely situated to Brighton and Eastbourne and offer frequent bus services. Rail links for Lewes, Newhaven, Seaford and Brighton are excellent for commuting to London. The port of Newhaven offers a cross-channel ferry service to France.

Lewes, the County Town of East Sussex, is a busy market town. The High Street is also the main administrative centre offering all the services you would require as well as an abundance of antique shops, craft and individual boutiques.

Seaford is a popular residential area which offers all amenities as well as an attractive unspoilt coastline. It is also only a few miles from the tourist attractions Seven Sisters and Beachy Head.

Neighbouring coastal towns of Newhaven, Peacehaven and Saltdean offer a range of properties and are close in proximity to Brighton.

The towns have excellent amenities inlcuding schools, libraries and leisure facilities.
